Default Finished some stuff (longish kinda post)

I know I haven't been around here much. Real life and all that yadda yadda
as
some of you already know..... but I have been getting to use some of my time
for quilty things!

I finished a quilt that I started over 2 years ago made out of faux suede
and flannel. It is by far the softest quilt I have ever put together. It is
for a craft sale at our local mall and so far I have had a hard time keeping
it in the sale pile. My oldest son seems to think it is his!!
(now I know what I am making his Graduation quilt out of though!)

This one is half done. It is for a charity auction to raise funds for our
local Air Cadet Squadron. I have to add sides and then it can be sandwiched
and quilted. Probably just a stitch in the ditch simple quilting job.

This one is a quilt as you go. I like these, so easy to do and so simple to
finish.
Probably put this one in the sell pile for the craft sale as well. Mostly
homespun's and plaids in this one. A more manly kind of quilt I think.

Most interesting group of quilts, KK.
You have done well; especially getting them so appropriate for their
purposes.
And, your sewing room is far tidier than mine!

Everything looks so wonderful, and I'm dancing in the moonlight for ya! I
really like how you have a mirror above your sewing machine. Ya got me
thinkin'. And I have a question. How did you join together the quilt as
you go project? I like how it looks.

awww KK - I hate to say this, but NOW your sewing area looks so sad!
It just looked so much more personal, warm and cozy and "lived in"
before. This looks like a "sterile" environment! Shame on you - go
throw some fabric scraps and thread tales around on that floor or
something! Geesh!

The quilts are lovely - I especially love the quilt as you go one -
great color combinations, right up my alley!

Those are sweet quilts. I like the way you did the backing on the home spun
one. Great job on all of them. It's wonderful that you are finding time to
do what you like. Thank you for share and do take good care of yourself.
