letter from Gemini, special attn: Mirjam
Hi Norma, I just read that filth about Mirjam on the newsgroup and was so enraged that someone would say such horrible things about such a sweet and loving person as Mirjam. Please assure her that I have sent a complaint to the disgusting SOB's server. I hope he loses his Internet access... but you know, unfortunately that likely won't stop him anyway... he'll likely just find another server to spread his hateful lies through. / On to other things (trying to calm down about that crap).... Thank you so much for sending along the messages from the others on the newsgroup, I really appreciate it. Please tell them (yes, you may post this letter onto the newsgroup. *wink*) that I appreciate all their good wishes, prayers, etc. I went to my meeting with Ontario Works (first step in trying to be approved for Disability) last Friday, only to be told that "Since you have an adult (Matthew) living in the same house... he will have to attend the meeting as well so we can find out how much he makes and so he can sign the papers too. Whatever amount he earns will be deducted from whatever you may be entitled to." *sigh* Oh and get this.... "We knew that your son and yourself were jointly buying the house together (because I had to tell them in the preliminary interview, on the phone), but we didn't know that he was also *living* there!" When I told Matthew this his response was... "Why would I be buying a house that I'm not even going to live in?" Anyway, the earliest appointment that we can get is on Tuesday July 13th at 12:30 PM. It is so frustrating having to wait, as the sooner I can get approval from Ontario Works, the sooner I can apply for Ontario Disability. After that, I will be applying to Canada Pension Plan Disability, and keep my fingers crossed that I can get acceptance from them (apparently that is the best one to be on, if you *have* to be on any of it). Unfortunately I can't apply for CPP Disability until my doctor gets all the results back from all the tests I have to have done... and that won't be until August sometime. I did talk to my doctor the other day and told him that since he informed me that I have arthritis that I've done research on the Internet. I told him that I read about all the different types of arthritis including the Degenerative Arthritis that he says I have in my back, my neck, and my knees, and that I have a LOT of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. He told me to mention that to the arthritic specialist when I see him again. He said it's very likely that I *do* have it... but he wants to see what the specialist has to say about it. I had the heart monitor on last Friday and taken off on Saturday... there were no "episodes" while I was wearing it. Personally I doubt that I have angina afterall... it may just be something to do with the Fibromyalgia, or something else. Anyway, I have to run... my time is totally up on the Library computer. I hope I didn't repeat myself in this letter.... please forgive me if I did. Talk to you again soon! Love, Gem (P.S. Mirjam, I agree with Gem totally.)-- Star love, Norma PM OES |
