Default Looking for pattern

Julia,
I've never seen that style quilt made with applique - I know it as
winding ways, and have seen it made with Marti Mitchell templates (all
pieced). My mother in law has made a gorgeous one (two actually) and
she seemed to really enjoy doing it. It's on my list of 'someday'
quilts. Here are the templates (NAYY):

John Flynn also sells a winding ways kit, but not in black and white.

Nancy MacDonald also has a nice method, a book and templates
http://www.nancymac.com/ It says on her website that she's on Simply
Quilts on Monday so you can also wait and watch then to see if that's
what you want.
