Default I'm now at liberty to dish!

I've never met Ginger personally but have shopped there when in Austin.
When I lived in Pampa we did not have an LNS. We have a fairly good LNS
here in San Angelo so I really don't have to rely on her now.
Sorry for your problems with her!

Okay, the guilt was killing me. So many of you were so kind to me after

my
little LNS complaint.

Now I can tell you the real story. The LNS is Ginger's Needlearts. I

have been
the champion of her shop for years. I've gone to bat for her when all

other
shops have told me she was this or that, nothing positive, trust me (and

clear
down to Houston shops!). She is smarmy, and treats people like they are

stupid
and she stumbled into one who is not stupid. Shame on her.

She definitely lied to me, outright. She didn't display any of the

Christmas
theme magnets, rather she hid them on her desk, which her own employees

call the
black hole.

She is one of the most disgusting personalities I've had to deal with and

I've
had huge amounts of validation from everyone who knows her.

That said, I must come clean. No online shop asked to purchase my laying

tools,
but I told that to Ginger so I could go up there and get all my stuff back
without having to have it out with her. She's about 6 feet tall and wide,

so I
wasn't about to...well, I'm only kidding on that. I doubt grown women

would
fight!

Anyway, I now have all my laying tools and magnets and I will post photos

of
them and set it up so that if anyone is interested in buying one or

carrying
them in their shops, it will be there. I would rather throw them in the

garbage
than let her taint them in her shop. I was so outraged I didn't know what

to
do, but I was reassured today by someone who knows her very well. She

does this
to everyone. Her reputation is very poor, at best.

I may have a small table at ANG. I have to see what's what as I've never

done
that before, but consignment is finis! My tools are beautiful, if I may

say so
myself! If shops want to sell them, they can buy them wholesale and sell

them
for whatever they want.

So, I am deeply sorry I lied to you here, but I didn't know if she reads

this
newsgroup or has her little spies, and I didn't want trouble with her. I

truly
am sorry for lying here.

The first person to post to this apology gets a free laying tool!

I wondered if that was the shop, because I had read your posts, praising her
establishment. Well, I am glad you got your things back, and the heck with
her. I shall throw away the directions I have to her store!!

So glad you got your laying tools back as I've been dying to buy one for a
long time! I didn't want to ask you about making one when you were still
dealing with your treatment. Please post some pictures on your website and
let us know when they are there. I'm sure you will do better selling them on
your own or through an online shop! Great way to start fresh for the new
year!

Would love to see another shop in this area. I'm tired of that being
the only place in town (besides Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc). And what
a drive from up here in Cedar Park. Good luck if you decide to follow
through....

That is great! She's a bigger idiot than she looks like to boot. Here she was

What a dope.

Boy, I really do feel like opening a shop now. There are a ton of quaint shops
right downtown. Very old buildings with store fronts. Beautiful places. Her
store is in a ghetto setting. Anyone who's been there can tell you.

I am surprised that Ruby hasn`t expressed her surprise here. I am
surprised about the whole story. If You animaux had a problem of sorts
with a shop, is this really the place to First praise this shop
[owner] and than scold her and tell that you lied in order to do get
something back,,, It all looks rather strange to me. And who is to
stay , that your version now is the last version of this story?
And anyway , this was not the place to conduct half truths ...
I am gald for you , to get your tools back . Maybe next time before
you do any sort of buisiness with somebody , you sign a little page
with Conditions of lending/giving tools ,,, etc,,,, would have saved
you sadness and the need to publicly tell starnge stories.

And maybe you just came off as a little judgemental and condescending?

Hi Victoria

I think most of us have been in similar situations like yours before.
We know a place is bad, but cannot do or say anthing about it because
of some tie that makes us hope for the best.
We may have a product that they are carrying for us, and even though
customers are complaining they can't get your stuff through that
store, you make one apology after another for someone who don't give a
hoot.
Then someday you are set free and can retell how it REALLY was!

Interesting ? on a Ng were some people complain periodically , about
loosing the `old` values . Unless we have read The other side , we
don`t really know what happened between Animaux and the shop keeper.
And if she was so `afraid ` that shop keeper might read this Ng ? what
happened, now , has she found out , shop keeper doesn`t read the ng
???
A bit of Mature realism , hasn`t hurt anybody, until now. Isabel .
The story as told is strange.
