Default I've been a busy bee and suggestions needed

Finished the Michael Murphy Hug quilts and put the binding on. Now
just need a label. A friend who wanted to participate but couldn't get
her blocks ready in time is making them into labels.

Then I put the borders on the Supernova block. First border I didn't
like so -- off it came. I like the second. Now I just have to figure
out how to quilt it. Should the quilting be dramatic and noticeable -
like a metallic, or should it blend into the background so the fabrics
are the most noticeable. Suggestions needed. It isn't as easy to rip
out quilting as it it to rip off a border you don't like.

Hi Linda,
I'd love to see what you have done so far, but, the webshots link
brings me to a sign up page. .....Am I missing something?

Whoa! That gorgeous! I think I'd like blazing metallic quilting! However
don't ask me what to put on it....just tell me when it's done. :-) The
quilting designs are always the hang up for me.

Wow! I really like the way you did the borders! With those wonderful
colors and the large expanses of black, I think I'd go with a gorgeous
thread that showed. JMHO.

COOL! That's a fun quilt. My suggestion for quilting would be to use a
couple of shimmering threads using colors from the quilt. I wouldn't go
to overboard, I'd keep it pretty subtle. Geometric or freemotion .

Have fun whatever you do.

Don't know anything about actual
quilting, but I had to write to tell you
how beautiful your entire album is.

That's such a stunning quilt, Linda. I love it.
Like Kathyl said, choosing the quilting is the hardest part for me.
However, I would quilt the coloured parts differently from the black
area. You wouldn't want to know what I might do in the coloured parts!
But in the black I would use something shimmery but making it
complementary to the coloured part so that it enhanced rather than
overpowered. How to do? Sorry ...
