Fabric List - new not-for-profit website
Fabric List is a website that makes it easier to shop for fabric online.
Fabric List (www.fabriclist.com) has compiled a sortable database of over 100 online fabric retailers along with a short description of each site. Visitors can also submit their own reviews and one-to-four-star ratings. If you are looking for an organic cotton knit, you can have the database show you only sites that carry cotton, "green" fabrics, and knits. Those sites appear in a list with clickable links to each store that will open for you in a new window. Then it's easy to open a store, search it, close it if nothing appeals to you, or even compare fabrics from two or more stores opened in different windows. It's like having a mall where every store sells the fabric you want. Please visit Fabric List and see if your favorite sites are there - if they are, share your experience by writing a short review (and if they aren't, Fabric List has a suggestion form right on the homepage). Or poke around and discover a new favorite. Whether you sew clothing, quilts, or slipcovers, Fabric List can help you find what you need. --Holly |

I went out and took a look, and it's great. I especially like that you can search on stores that carry specialized wigits and gismos. I'm new to the group (today). My friend is in the group and said you guys are a lot of kind, fun quilters. |
