Default French Pottery Marks

Does anyone know how I can identify a mug that I have found on a river bank
in Southern France. It is very basic in design, currently marked because of
it's recent association with chalks/silts etc from the river. It seems to
have a raised 3d image of a French military subject (possibly Bonaparte),
the only other identifiable feature being an anchor of the picture of the
subject. It has a stamp on the base similat to the word GO on it's side.

Any help would be appreciated.
