Default crochet christmas tree pattern

Hello all,

I'm looking for the pattern to crochet a white Christmas tree. I have
purchased 2 of these at thrift stores. It fits over a styrofoam cone.
Years ago, and I do mean years, I had the pattern given to me. Alas,
it is now lost. If anyone has the pattern or knows how I can get the
pattern, please email me.

I think I have the pattern you are looking for. I have one that is done
in crochet thread and the cone is optional. Let me know if you want me
to email it to you.

The one I am looking for is done in worsted weight yarn and has
scallops all around plus up the tree. I'd love to see the one you have
if it wouldn't be too much trouble to email it. Thanks, Marrianna

Here is a link for a tree that I crocheted last year.
http://www.crochetnmore.com/christmastreeairfresh.htm
It fits over a cone shaped airfreshner but should work on a
cone too. I did mine in green but could be done in white very
easily. This has the scallops all around the tree that you talked about.

Hello - I'm up in the Phoenix area.
Herrschners used to sell a "kit" for a
fantastic crocheted Christmas tree
with scalloped branches. SC, DC & TC
& reverse. Alas, no longer ~

However - good old Google has some
199,000 Christmas Tree patterns listed
to check out - which should take care of your Friday :-))) (or the whole
weekend)

Welcome, clutz. Do you knit or crochet or both?

Higs,
Katherine
