Nap Mat Cover?

Anyone know of a pattern or instructions for making a cover for a nap mat?
My 2 y.o DGD has just started going to day care this week and they want a
cover on her nap mat. Could I just enlarge pillowcase measurements and go
from there? TIA

Donna: That is good idea ... add velcro
(tm) to keep it together. Maybe you
could applique her name or initials,

When my boys started kindergarten, I used matching beach towels for
their nap mats. Just made a big pillowcase, as you said, and put a
button on the top. The towels were pretty, soft and very washable.
These days, I'd be likely to make it out of minke or some such.

Thanks, Pat. Good idea about the applique, too. My Bernina embroiders too
so either applique or embroidery would be the way to go!! Got to get to it
this afternoon!
