It's time for everyone to have a time-out... Let's share the latest
project you've seen that's calling out to you.

For me, I just discovered a small photo of Martina Weber's "Christmas
Mystery II" and fell in love/fibre lust. It's on this page...(You have
to scroll way down, and I couldn't find any other more close-up pictures
that showed the whole thing.)

Anybody else?

Well, it's not NEW by any means, but I've gotten on a Marbek angel kick,
and my reward for getting through six weeks of daily rush transcripts is
that I have already kitted up Bethany Angel. The minute I read "we, the
jury, find Mr. Slasher guilty as sin", I start Beth. She has a
peach dress, so I'm doing her on peach fabric. I *think* the contrast
is good enough, and if not, well, then I backstitch around the dress in
a light brown so it doesn't blend into the background.

(In California, on death penalty cases, the lawyers are entitled to each
day's transcript at the beginning of the next day.)

I also promised a friend MLI's Dance of the Roses for her 50th birthday
in August, but Bethany is for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, so my reward comes first.

Just won two Ebay auctions, one for the Stoney Creek chart containing
"O Holy Night" and one for the amsterdam blue linen for it.

It's a lovely nativity scene, and has been tempting me in kit form in
catalogs for about a year!

HMMM - I have several things I want to start. I may just put Miss Gertie
Bird on the lap frame and go for it. Since it is all DMC, I won't worry
about the effect of my hands on anything "nicer"....

The angel on the cover of last month's CrossStitcher mag. I'm doing it on a
16 ct. irridescent white aida, and I'm going to use Swarovski 3mm crystal
beads for the halo & 2 black crystals for the eyes.

For me it's Sampler Cove's Spanish Rouge:

It reminds me of The Spanish Wine piece I did that is one of my
favorites.

I did a Celtic band sampler from Homespun Samplar that's lovely and was
great fun. I stitched it in silks. It hangs in my living room.

Is it intricate enough for what you're looking for?
