Default second stained glass quilt

Happy 4th of July everyone!
After that first stained glass quilt, I was hooked. I still haven't quilted
the first one yet, but I had an idea in my head, so I had to start the
second.
I was really surprised at my teacher's response to my question if she has
ever made her own pattern for stained glass quilts, and she said no. I
thought to myself, how difficult could it be? I picked up an overhead
projector off ebay at a very good price, and was able to pick it up rather
then have it shipped. I bought transparencies for my printer & bought a pad
of super large newsprint. I have been wanting to make a special quilt for my
good friend Amy (the lady that makes the sock monkey quilts)...since she
turned me on to quilting...and I secretly hope she will make me one of her
special quilts one day, in return, hehe....Anyways, her company logo is a
darling little boy "bully" that her husband created, so I copied him & put
him on the quilt! I still have to find just the right backing & then quilt
it....but she has no idea, so I hope she will be surprised!
Here is the quilt:

and here is the company logo:

So, let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!!!
Have a safe holiday!
hugs,
Teri

That is so cute, Teri! Your friend is sure to like it so much she'll
probably give you flowers in addition to one of her special quilts. At
least I would. g

Teri, I think that logo was *made* for the stained glass technique you
used! You did a terrific job, and I'm sure your friend will love the
quilt.

Another source of stained glass quilt patterns is stained glass patterns.

My aunt and uncle make stained glass windows, and were working on one for
their home the last time I went to visit them. I stole the pattern, and one
day they're going to open their mailbox to find a nice quilt surprise...
