Default Holy freaking gawd!

I just took receipt of two sets of Kalera beads. They were Rosette
Amore (golden pink heart focal/set), and Pacific Cyan (indescribable
aqua and golden).

I cannot really believe them. I keep taking them out and looking at
them in different lights. They make me sort of dizzy. I went back to
her gallery, though, to look up their names, and it made me all sick
because of the sets I DIDN'T get. AUGH! (Okay, I'm pretty much
kidding -- I'm not sick, I'm okay.) (My glass is half *full*)

Sheesh. This is why I avoid galleries on lampworkers' sites.

Pacific Cyan is the one I wish I had gotten. Don't you just love that new
technique. Rosette Amore was another favorite. But I have several hearts
that I just don't use. And yet, that blushed gold coloring is so
delightful.

Lou gave me Kalera's Grape Glow set for my birthday. The funny thing about
these is that I had agonized over buying them, actually sent him a link as a
hint. Then I decided I'd buy them for myself and went on the website, and they
were sold. So, I emailed Kalera to ask if she would make me another set.
Before we could finalize matters, this package arrived addressed to Lou - I
almost dropped it I was so surprised. I didn't get them for Christmas and
wondered if he had lost them (he has a history of doing this, I still haven't
gotten one of the presents he bought for our anniversary in October, lol), but
I was patient (it was hard!) and he gave them to me for my birthday. I'll make
a bracelet out of them so I can look at them all day. I've been doing that with
the lampwork I buy because necklaces are more for other people to see.

I'm so glad you got those! That was so fun, when you told me you
suspected him of buying them for you and I checked my records and sure
enough... he is so sweet.
