Default Tin - antiquing

I recently got a piece of tin jewlery - a Thor's Hammer to be exact, but =
I
find the finsih to be a little too shiny.
I was wondering if anyone knew a way, chemically or otherwise, to oxidize=
or
in some other way taint the surface and make the tin-piece appear =
"older".

Give a call to these Birchwood Casey guys at 1.800.328.6156
Tell them what you need and aske them for a sample or for a
local rep. Their stuff (Sb/Te/Bi/Se etc,) can be brushed on, washed
off and gives you a lasting finish to your liking. Here's their url
