Default ISO: An eBay Category for Decorative Items?

I'm off beaded beads for a bit, but would like to do some decorative
items, such as bead-covered bottles and other forms of non-jewelry
tchatchky, for a change of pace. However, I looked and looked through
eBay's lists of categories and couldn't come up with one specifically
for bibelots and baubles.

Any suggestions?

BTW, Bead-Patterns.com just put up a pattern for an amazing five
sided, self-supporting, beaded vessel. Take a look, you might end
up very inspired.

For bottles with interesting shapes, there's no better place than
American Scientific and Surplus. (www.sciplus.com) Cheap, too.

Thanks for the tip -- and I'm already a Frequent Buyer at AS&S. I have
a couple dozen tiny bottles (along with the test tubes!) that I've
wanted to cover for some time now. ;o)
--------------------------------------------------

While we're on the topic of covering things, I bought some stick pen,
like Bics, only with a huge, red "Brooks Drugs" logo on the side. The
packaging hid the fact that they had this hideous logo on the pens, but
they were cheaper than the Bics.

Is there something that I can cover the logo with before I bead them?

Have you tried removing the logo with nail polish remover? Of course
if it's the kind etched into the plastic then it won't work.

How about trying to remove it with nail polish remover? If that doesn't
work, I'd run a strip of opaque tape (like electrical tape) over the

entire
pen barrel. Contact paper would work, too.

I had hesitated to try the polish remover for fear it would etch the pen
barrel. I tried it just now, and it takes most of the paint off without
damaging the pen. However, now the pen is pink...

If you're doing your pen beading in peyote, it doesn't matter. No

one will
see the Brooks Drugs logo. Netting would be another matter altogether.

I was worried that it would show through any light-colored transparent
beads. We'll see: I have a few other irons in the fire just now, so I
may not get around to pens for a while.
