I finally got one...not OT
I decided to take advantage of JoAnn's anniversary sale and got myself a portable Ott
Lite. I love it. No more headaches when quilting, and it'll be sooooo good for me this winter, because I normally get slightly depressed in the winters. Yippeeee! Next, i'm gonna save up and get one of those antique looking ones..they're beautiful. Anyway, thought I'd share...I"m hoping this will actually increase quilt production...hehe. -- Jalynne Queen Gypsy (snail mail available upon request) see what i've been up to at www.100megsfree4.com/jalynne |

Good move, good move! Wish I had one already, but I have to pay my dues
first it seems. Karen, Queen of Squishies |

Easier still Helen: do not allow anyone to buy dark blue socks!
If it is imperative, then one should only buy a style totally different from the black socks. Never the twain shall meet! PAT John Freese wrote: they're great for sorting black vs. blue socks too! Didn't help me increase production, but you may have different results.
I love the look of the antique ones too. I don't have room for any more furniture, or I'd save for one too. -- LN in NH a crazy quilter * hand quilter * & hand appliquér all in all --- a very slow quilter.... Final solution: Buy a gross of same stock sock and throw away all the old
ones. -- Ruth in Happy Camp "teleflora" wrote in message .. . "John Freese" wrote in message ... they're great for sorting black vs. blue socks too! Helen in MN I solved that problem. I put DH's socks in one of those mesh bags that go in the washing machine and then throw the whole bag in the drawer. I held my breath for a few days, but it's been a couple weeks now and he hasn't said anything. Cindy |

Love my Ott light. Just think since I only have a floor model for my sewing
machine area. I'll probably need to sit at the machine more so I won't have depressive episodes. Sounds logical. lol Pam "Queen of Squishies" wrote in message ink.net... Good move, good move! Wish I had one already, but I have to pay my dues first it seems. Karen, Queen of Squishies |

That is such a sane idea. No more mismatched socks. No more getting mad at
DH for taking mine and stretching them out. Thats what Im going to do... a gross of socks for each, with each getting a different color. Neither of us mistakes Megs for ours. She still gets cute ones but this time Im still buying a gross so there isnt that matching problem. GRrrrrrrr. Ok.. maybe not a gross but a nice dozen each sounds good.
