Default OT-update on bike ride

Todd (DS) finished the Diabetes Ride on Saturday. He completed the
whole ride with out having to have assistance. Said he would do it
again, but not this week. There was only one day of pouring rain, and
of course it was in the mountains. These are his stats:

Total distance: 568.25 mi
Total time in the saddle: 36h 59m
Total est. climb: 27,000 feet
Longest day: 104.73 miles, 7h 10m
Max speed reached: 46.0 mph
Max grade climbed: 15%

Met lots of nice people, raised lots of money. His pledges even
surprised him!
Thanks for all the good thoughts. It is soooo nice to have people to
worry with me.
Since Tyler had to drop out- GO LANCE!!!

FIFTEEN percent? Geebus, that's an impressive climb. Plateau-de-Beille
in the Pyrenees is only 8% and it's totally brutal.

Kudos to Todd on a successful ride!
