Default Small drinking glasses

I'm looking for small drinking glasses or vases. Plastic or glass. I want
them bigger than 1/12th scale; maybe 1/2-3/4 inch tall. I've got tniy tiny
ones in 1/12th scale, and pretty big ones like for a play tea set, but I
haven't been able to find the size I'm after. I've checked wedding and baby
charms and stuff at the craft stores and the dollar stores.

Any hints? Thanks

One thing I forgot: I'd like clear ones. A small difference! My fault,
sorry

Got it. If you're willing to spend some time making your own.
Here's what you need:
-- Large-bore, clear drinking straws
-- Scissors
-- Sheet of clear acetate (shrink-it would work)
-- A punch, in the proper diameter
-- Clear glue, like silicone CA gel or the like

Cut your drinking straws to length, punch the bottoms out of the sheet
of acetate, apply a helping of glue to the bottoms and glue the straw
lengths to them.

The punch could be made from an old brass shell-casing, if you have
access to one, slightly sharpened with sandpaper or a file. You could
also use a piece of thin-walled metal tubing of pretty much any kind,
or you might get lucky and find a paper punch with the proper diameter
hole.

Alternately, you could use a blob of hot blue for the base.

The straws you might have to hunt a bit for, but I've seen them around
in different places. If you have a party store in your area, that
would be a good place to start. Also bulk food service stores, like
SYSCO (probably regional and you've no idea what I'm talking about).

If you have no luck finding straws, you can certainly find stuff on
the internet that will do the trick. I found a company that makes
plastic extruded tubing: http://www.visipak-extrusion.com/
of all sizes. They have huge minimum orders. However, if you were to
call or write them and request a sample of a particular size, you
might get lucky.

Another company: http://www.caplugs.com/default.asp has a page where
you can actually order samples of their tubing products.

Furnace nozzles come in plastic tubes that are about 1/2" in diameter.
You could check with a local plumbing and heating supplier for extras.

Experiment with the glue. Some will react with some plastics and
others won't.

You get the idea...

avon lip stick samples have a clear half, in the shape of a drinking glass.

also, a couple years back, a childs kitchen playset (kitchen littles) had
everything you could image for a kitchen-from utensiles to food--all in barbie
size scale. They also make a kitchen set under the barbie name-check there too
for accessories.

I wonder if 'barbie' size might work for you. What kind of diameter? I was
also thinking that hardware stores often sell clear tubing by the foot.
Would that work or not be fine enough? What setting are you using them in?

The tops off insulin syringes are clear white-ish plastic, 3/4 inch
tall, 1/2 inch diameter cylinders. They have a little rim and vertical
ribs up to it. I use up to 3 or 4 syringes a day, and usually just
chuck the whole thing. If you know any diabetics it might be worth
asking them.
