Lark Books Call For Artists: Found Object Jewelry
Call for Project Designers and Gallery Artists
Found-Object Jewelry Lark Books is publishing a how-to book on found-object jewelry in the spring of 2005. We are looking for unique and original projects, previously unpublished, to be in featured in the book. Designers selected for inclusion will be compensated. The goal of the book is to show found-object jewelry as a powerful and dynamic means of modern artistic expression. We intend to emphasize jewelry that ventures beyond convention in form, materials, and technique. Our desire is to raise popular consciousness and encourage the growth of the media by inspiring new participants from complete beginners to experienced jewelers. The book will also feature an extensive image gallery of contemporary found-object jewelry. Submissions for the gallery are also being sought.
