I am looking for a free simple pattern for a waistcoat/vest for my daughter,
preferably with a single button or tie in Aran or double knitting.

Thank you Michele I will have a look. It is for my daugher and she has a 32
inch bust! She is a grown woman though and the mother of my precious
grandson

ah, so she is about the same size as MY daughter! Well, my daughter is about
5'7". A boys tshirt will fit her, and we got her new winter coat in the boys
section.
