Garter carriage problems!
Hello!
I just acquired a garter carriage (KG88). Everything seems to be working ok, except that the carriage does not move - the motor goes though. The garter needle seems a little bent - is that what's wrong? I'm really disappointed because I was dying to try it out, too! Any advice welcome. Regards, Jane |

The garter needle seems a little bent - is that what's wrong? Silly question I know, but you have got the rail connected I suppose? When I first got a GC I made that mistake the first time I used it. -- Marion |

You must have a full set of needles on the main bed even if you are not knitting on all of them. -- David Toft |

Did you try putting it outside the marks on the knitting machine ,then turn
on the start button. Stella "steel breeze" wrote in message ... Hello! I just acquired a garter carriage (KG88). All is working now! I saw one of these once on display at the NEC, but obviously wasn't paying too much attention! Thanks for your help! |
