Default Any pasta machine recommendations for fimo?

I read that you can use a pasta machine when working with fimo to make
blends, etc. for use with bead making.

Can anyone out there recommend a good pasta machine for this work, or
would pretty much any of them work?

www.glassattic.com has recommendations, and you may want to join up with
rec.crafts.polymer-clay for more clay related questions.
You do need a sturdy model. That much is a given.
Do you make beads Oppie?

Any old hand-crank one will do. If you have Michae's Crafts or a JoAnn
crafts, you can use one of their 40% off coupons on the ones they sell at
their store, which makes it even cheaper. Also check thrift stores, etc.

there is a polymer clay group, too. rec.crafts.polymer-clay

I loved my Atlas. I had one for pasta that I was willing to sacrifice when I
was given the pasta attachments to my KitchenAid mixer (which I thought REAL
hard about using for the clay instead G). I'd used it for pasta for over
10 years before I got into polyclay, and as far as I know it's still going
strong, in the capable hands of my niece.....about 25 years of use.

No .. no bead making yet, but I'm interesting it trying it out as a
hobby. I figure that after fifty years or so, I might get the hang of it!

I have several Atlas (also known in Italy as Marcato) and one has the optional
motor. I got it from The Clay Factory, and it has been more than worth the
extra cost for the reduction in hand work conditioning and color mixing. If you
get a Pasta Queen, be aware the numbers run backwards from the Atlas where "1"
is the thickest.
