Default Water Torch

Has anyone here used a water torch? Do you like it?

I talked to someone at a show who uses one, and likes it. I decided
to do a little investigation, and I feel like I have stepped into an
alternate universe.

Google searches for water torch quickly lead to searches for fuel
cells, and suddenly I was seeing promises to increase my gas
mileage.

I would like to hear feedback from anyone with any experience with
one.

I've been using a water torch for about 6 years and wouldn't be without
it. My jewellery is all fabricated - no castings - I do lots of
soldering and the water torch does almost all of it. The flame is not
quite big enough to tackle a solid silver bangle bracelet, but that's
about the only thing it won't do.
Its extremely easy to light and there is nothing to adjust - just switch
on, open the valve, light it and its ready to use. It never runs out of
gas and there are no bottles to look after.
I use MEK in the booster and this is fine for everything except the
hardest grades of platinum solder, but water instead of MEK would raise
the flame temperature to handle that too.
The tiny flames available with the smallest tips are perfect for
repairing the thinnest chains.

I have been waiting for about 5 days now but the shipping times are 10-19 days. As soon as I get them I will let you know. I have not seen you on that forum for a long time now and I was wondering where you are? How did it go with the collection that you got? Here is the link to the beads again http://www.liangdianup.com/beadscrafts_1.htm and here is the link to the Swarovski beads http://www.liangdianup.com/inventory/900020.htm if those links don't work then you can goto www.lducompany.com and click on the beads picture, that should take you right there. I hope you see this message and get back to me cause I miss talking to you
