Yep - we did one piece in my Level II class - but what I really want to try
is the Plique a jour technique (like little glass windows). mmmmmmm. You can also make enameled beads on copper tubing (that's the beads we learned to make first in my glass bead class). Kathy K "vj" wrote in message ... vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "KDK" : ]Very cool work. **blush** not really - they're very much first efforts. but thank you - i'm having SUCH a great time. even as frustrated as i get with myself! ]I bought a book on enameling tonight. I want to use it more with PMC. oooooooh - now there's a thought! i didn't know you could do that! ----------- @vicki [SnuggleWench] (Books) http://www.booksnbytes.com newest creations: http://www.vickijean.com/new.html ----------- I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America, and to the republic which it established, one nation from many peoples, promising liberty and justice for all. You can also make enameled beads on copper tubing (that's the beads we learned to make first in my glass bead class). and you do NOT have to buy tubing to make them email me if you want the alternative way... (which is much cheaper) is the Plique a jour technique (like little glass windows). mmmmmmm. yes - years ago when I was into enamelin g there was this Russian guy who came to the Enamelist Society convention - and he did beautiful plique a jour... sigh....
