Default Mill Hill beads

I know they are packaged by weight, but does any one know approximately how
many beads are in a package of Mill Hill seed beads?

It's going to depend on the type of beads. "Seed beads" is still a general
term.

http://www.aion-needlecrafts.co.uk/i...llquantity.htm
http://www.katescrossstitch.ca/beading/

Check out these sites. They both list approximates for 10 different
types/shapes Mill Hill beads. I haven't looked too closely so they may be
alike. All I did was Google "number of beads + "mill hill".

Thank you for the links. That's exactly what I need to know. I also
appreciate the info on how you found the sites through Google. Sometimes I use
good search terms and find what I need, but I chose the wrong ones trying to
find this info!

Since you brought up the subject............

Did you know that you can search for an exact phrase by putting it inside of
quotion marks? Searching for Mill Hill vs "Mill Hill" will yield different
results. One of the ladies in my EGA chapter learned that when she tried
looking up information on the Forbidden Stitch. She got hits for porn sites
the first time. This trick doesn't work with all search engines but works
often enough to add it to your usual practices. :-)

There are some additional tips on the following site:

I take the easy way out - I use Google's advanced search page and just fill out
the appropriate line! My problem tends to be in figuring out which combo of
words will pull up what I'm looking for.

That's why you always try a different combination of terms. I usually try
three or four combinations of words before I quit Googling. Okay - so I'm a
geek without a life outside of my computer.............

My friends and family know this about me and love me in spite of it all.
They also know that if I can ever help them with their
computers/software/whatever, all they have to do is call. I've made house
calls for several of them. And since the EGA uses my computer skills, that
is listed on my resume!

Snicker!
I just had lunch with some folks from ne.food - I felt so un-geek! These

are
the Uber-geeks! (local humor?)
