The Vanadium commonly used is, V2O5, Vanadium Pentoxide
It can be used either in a glaze or directly onto a pot and then a glaze applied over it. If you have access to Ceramic Review you will see an article that I have written 'Special Effects' which deals with the use of Vanadium. David In article . net, Bruce on Earthlink writes Does anyone have the formula for vanadium stain?
