Default Happy Dance and Sewing Area

I finished the large Red/White/Blue Log Cabin that I've been working on for
almost 5 years. Yippee!!! It was almost a disaster - the blue in the
border ran (and I always pre-wash), but it's done and delivered. I posted a
photo on my web-site (below).

To celebrate, I cleaned the sewing room. I also re-located the cutting
table, so my formerly claustrophobic room has a new look and a new sitting
area. Since there also seems to be a lot of interest in sewing rooms, I
posted some photos of the new look as well.

I hope you enjoy the visit to my sewing room! Just click on "photos" once
you get to the main page. Now I suppose I should go cook supper. :-(

You have inspired me. I will tidy my sewing room. Tomorrow. Maybe. Or some
other day. Polly

That looks like a very nice and comfy sewing room.

Hi Theresa, How large is the room. I see that you have a wood floor. Have
you had any problems with the weight of the machines denting the floor?
When we move into our new house I really want wood floors in all the "public
areas".

One other question for you. Since you are a SM dealer, is the needle
threader on the Bernina 153 something that I can replace myself? The little
tab broke off last night. TIA, Linda in Tx

Teresa:

Yea!! I am doing a lively dance to "Yankee Doodle"
for your Patriotic LC. It was fun to tour your
sewing room, but you forgot to focus on your
stash. (Ahem!) Question: what is the mat you have
for your foot pedal? I am in the market for
something to hold the pedal and maybe to provide a
rest for my 'other foot.' I really want to stop
playing footsie with my foot pedal!! Please e-mail
me.
Thanks bunches!! PAT in VA/USA

Love your "stairway to the stars"! My Mom had one over the telephone table
when I was small. I was always fascinated with all her small ornaments.
Unfortunately, it disappeared during one of her moves :-(

Oh - cool - I never knew what to call that. My mom and both grandmothers
had one when I was little. It brings back good memories. Nobody in my
family likes it, that's why it lives in the sewing room. They have no say
about what I put in there.
I am sorry yours is gone. :-(
