de-lurk with question
Hi all
I do lurk here and read once in a while....have one quick question.... if a pattern calls for 2 strands of worsted weight yarn, could I use 1 strand of chunky weight? desperately looking for patterns to use chunky weight, and thought this might work. thanks, allyson, going back to lurkdom |

There are others here far more competent to explain this than I, but it really works Ophelia Scotland |

What they call the yarn or how many strands you use is up to you. Do a gauge swatch with your bulky weight yarn and see what size hook you need to use and if you like how it looks. Dawn |

It has worked for me, but, just in case, when making a substitution like that, do the swatch. TTFN Katherine |
