Pat, just curious..why don't you like Paypal? Are there problems with it? Kim It's not PayPal per se, although I've occasionally read people griping about problems with their system. I just prefer dealing with vendors who are sufficiently well-established as businesses to have their own credit card merchant IDs. My experience is that they're probably going to be more business-like in general with regard to things like shipping and return policies, prompt order fulfillment and still *being* there if I want to make another order in the future. It's just personal preference, not any implied criticism of hobby vendors. -- Pat Kight |

I am an established business, have my own merchant account and still offer
paypal as a payment option. My customers enjoy having the paypal option as many of them have balances that make buying a bit easier than putting another charge onto their credit card. Could they transfer the balance to their checking accounts and send me a check? Sure. Could they transfer the money, put the charge on their credit card, and then write out a check to their CC company? Sure. It's just easier for them to use the cash balance in PP, and makes it seem that they're not spending "real" money. "Pat Kight" wrote in message ...
