I'm always leary of trying / buying from an online quilt shop that I've
never heard of or purchased from. However - "need" overcame "fear" as I
was hunting for a shop that had the complete colorway in a particular
line of fabric that I love. I did a search on quiltshops.com and it
directed me to www.desperatequilters.com - their
prices were very good, and the service was just outstanding! I ordered 5
yards of fabric from them on Monday or Tuesday, and it arrived on
Friday. It was all beautifully packaged, and they enclosed a thank you
note with a bag of tea, and several quilt pattern leaflets. Impressive!

Oh gosh Kate - two summers ago, I went on a "brights" kick, and I just
can't get enough of them! The line called "Snow Days" has some great
blenders in bright colors - they have little circles on them and I have
used them over and over again, unril I've just about run out. I'm
particularly fond of the yellow one...... but they're all great. Most of
the places I looked had one or two of them, but I just wanted to buy
them ALL in one place.

I have some of that in my stash right now! You're right -- they are perfect bright blenders!

G That is a Moda line from "Me and My Sister".... Tempe area gals who
were the original owners of The Quilters" Koop" shop in Awatukee. G
They love brights and lots of color. I have several of the charm packs
from their lines and am doing "cover projects" for some of my
patterns-to-be.

Pati - I've fallen in love with more than one of their lines - there's
another one I'm really fond of, I think it's called "Petal Pushers",
that I have used quite a bit. I dunno what happened to me - I have been
a "pastel" girl forever, but the brights have just been talking to me
lately!!
