Here's a pic of my latest quilt for my daughter Rachel (11 yrs.old), taken
from
a Fons and Porter magazine called "Funky Stars". This picture was taken
before
it was quilted and bound. My daughter has gone away for 2 weeks and I'm
in the
process of re-doing her room. I have the painter here as I type. This
is
going to be a surprise for her.....hope it all turns out the way I plan.

But I *like* the newel post.
I like to see the house parts as well as the quilts.
And I really like to read/talk about the paint. ;-D

O.K.....so I had to lay it down in my foyer and take a picture from the
stairs.
I tried to work around it, but it didn't work. You were supposed to
ignore that
part!

Mebbe we should start a post showing off our houses? You know, just to
make us Brits jealous (this one in particular living in what you guys
would refer to as a dog kennel size-wise...)

Yep - they have things called 'Great Rooms'. Sounds very grand. Bet
you could fit our whole house into a Great Room!

Wendy,

It was your quilt that I saw and loved it, then went on-line and ordered a back
issue of the magazine. So.....thank you!

Lorraine,
That looks great! I did the same pattern a few years ago for my baby nephew,
and I can't believe how different yours looks! It's a fun pattern to make,
isn't it? Thanks for sharing!

Dynamic quilt Lorraine! the variety of background fabric adds a
'sparkle' to the setting.
I'm happy dancing to the tune "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" PAT
