Her room is being done with 2 blue paints. The darker of the two will be on the
wall where her new double bed will be. The other three wall will be in the
lighter, which is not really light. The blue is a bit of a periwinkle blue,
like in the quilt, but it's hard to tell in the picture. Then I'll have to bring
in some color in the valance and pictures to break the blue up a bit. I think
she's going to like it.

I like those bright colors. I'm sure she will love it. What color are you
painting her room?

O.K.....so I had to lay it down in my foyer and take a picture from the stairs.
I tried to work around it, but it didn't work. You were supposed to ignore that
part!

Thanks Roberta, actually the diagonal border is little stars and it was bought
that way.
Her room is being painted in blues also, but will have to add some other colors
into the room, so it doesn't get sickening.

Gorgeous! I also love the borders -the 1st border in diagonal stripes, is
that pieced, or did you find fabric like that? The scrappy narrow border is
great too.

So what color are you painting the room? Remember to get a photo of her
mouth dropping open when she sees it -might be good blackmail material later
on :-)

Lorraine,
That looks great! I did the same pattern a few years ago for my baby nephew,
and I can't believe how different yours looks! It's a fun pattern to make,
isn't it? Thanks for sharing!

Dynamic quilt Lorraine! the variety of background fabric adds a
'sparkle' to the setting.
I'm happy dancing to the tune "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" PAT
