Default Is ths a good deal? Grace Quilting Sewing Frame +Janome 1600 Sewing Machine

I picked up a really nice brochure and CD from the Grace people when I was
at the show in Houston. Why don't you go to their website and see if you can
get one? It would have all the measurements of all the frames. Remember, you
need to leave space for you to work the machine, too!

As for the Little Gracie, my youngest says if I bought that one, she'd do
all my quilting for me. Too bad she's only 6!

Thanks so much for your input, Wendy. Is it as big as it looks? I'm
beginning to wonder if it will be way too big for my sewing room. My
sewing
room is only 10.5x13.5.

They also have this one and I'm wondering if this might fit better in my
sewing room. Do you know anything about this one?

I tried this one and I really liked it. If I were to buy a machine frame,
this is the one I'd pick. I like the construction, and the fact that it
can
be folded up (not easily, but then that just shows how sturdy it is). It
is
also alot closer to my budget than any of the long-arm machines. I also
like
the Janome 1600 with it.

Okay, read this first. http://tinyurl.com/y7mpna
I bought one for my bride with the Juki machine. It works great, the
Juki didn't. Feed dogs were messed up. They are now repaired, but now
we're in a house with too little room to set it up.
In the king size mode, it goes out to about 12' long. It will take a
lot of room. Ensure you can set it up and keep it set up. It is a
royal pain to switch from big to little (king to baby quilt) size or
vice versa. If you were going to do a lot of queen or larger quilts, I
would set it up big and leave it like that. You can do baby quilts on
the king size setup.
By the way, that is equivalent to a "show price." Its a good deal.

Thanks again, Wendy. I never even thought to go to their site. I'll do
that.
