Default Lost my Harley Chart!!!!!!! Help????????????

Having finally decided that my Rottie, Harley, Cop project has had a
long enough time out, I went back to work on it but came to an abrupt
halt. I can find the working copies of the part of the chart I was
working on (the handlebar & the front wheel) but CAN'T FIND THE
ORIGINAL CHART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I searched the extra room and didn't
find it. I went through my numerous project bags and didn't find it.
I went through the booklets for the dog and cop, thinking that I may
have stuffed them together into the "project pillowcase" and didn't
find it. I checked the Hoffman site and it's no longer listed. I
checked the Ross Originals site and they seem to have no contact info
except for the webmaster.

Does anyone out there have a copy that we could trade for or that I
could buy from them????????? My BIL is now a retired cop & I'd like
to give it to him before he retires from life. Not that I expect him
to, but we did almost lose him last year when he went to Iraq to help
the military with police investigations and ended up catching TWO of
those MRSA viruses within a week of getting off of the plane. I
started the project about 10 years ago and didn't expect it to take
quite so long but I'm doing the shiny parts of the motorcycle in DMC
Rayon (didn't help that it was discontinued) and I have to use short
lengths to keep it workable.

Any assistance will be appreciated - even an address for Ross
Originals if anyone has one.

Thanks.

Sorry I can't help with the chart, but I might be able to help with the
DMC Rayon. Let me know the numbers.
Good luck with your quest.

Thanks for the offer. Since I don't really like the way the dog
turned out and I won't have the original chart on which I had penciled
in where the policeman would go, I'm considering starting the whole
thing over and NOT using rayon. I don't like the dog because, when I
enlarged the stitching to make it fit with the Harley & the cop, I
needed to use four stitches on the fabric for every one stitch on the
chart. What I forgot to do was to add quarter and half stitches to
make it less boxy. I'm trying to decide now whether the dog and the
rayon are going to bother me enough to take the enjoyment out of the
project. I think I'm talking myself into starting over. Or, I could
just stitch OVER the dog, in colors that match, rounding out the
boxiness of it. If I find a way to do that, I may just take the rayon
parts of the motorcycle out. I still love the tire in flower thread.
That turned out great! I would still like to do the really shiny
metalic parts in metalic threads, like doing the spokes in some kind
of silvery color but I've not yet made up my mind. I would like to
get it done while I'm still unemployed so that I have the time to
actually work in it in long stretches instead of bits and pieces of
time. :-)

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hadn't even thought to check eBay! I'm
going to go for it. Even if I find my original chart (which I
probably will once I buy a new one) , the creases were becoming a
challenge to read so a new one would still be useful.

Default Lost my Harley Chart!!!!!!! Help????????????

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The chart was in a drawer with a
wedding project I had squeezed in last summer. When I had to put it
away, I had the Harley chart out to make more working copies and had
stuffed that chart in with the charts I was making for the wedding
project. I've decided to fix the dog (hmmmmmm, that could be
interesting if taken out of context) :-) and finish the Harley in
rayon as I had originally planned. I really do like the way it is
coming out - even if the rayon drives me crazy sometimes. Thanks for
the support!

P.S. DH & I just discovered that there is a finch nest above the
radiator in his little Case dozer. :-) He moved it up by the house to
work on it and, after I heard finches coming from what appeared to be
"inside" the dozer, he remembered that there was a finch flying around
when he was working on it down by his shop. Mom has apparently found
the nest again and, as long as DH doesn't run it long enough to get
hot and parks it up here or down by the shop, mom and babies should be
fine. It's a pretty safe place, predator wise. :-))
