OT Holidays plans changed.
I had hoped to be on holiday for six weeks. Swapping a NZ summer for winter
in Europe, going to London, then Christmas in France with our daughter's in laws. We have now cancelled as my husband's mother has pancreatic cancer and it has spread to her liver. We have had three months of family, laughter and fun. Mum is still active, up and about. I am taking to to watch our town Christmas parade next Saturday as all of her three offspring are on the local museum float, not as exhibits but as a tableau taking photographs. We are making the most of every day and have hoards coming for Christmas. On topic, I have made 26 crystal Christmas tree earrings for the women of the family We wear them all the time and they are always admired. Cheers, Jan |

Sorry to hear that, Jan.
We had a scare of that for a while when DH was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes almost 14 years ago, but that wasn't what it was, thank God, autoimmune stuff in his case. I'm glad you are able to make the best of it. Got pictures of the Christmas tree earrings? Hugs, Maren On Dec 7, 8:29 am, Jan Gribble wrote: I had hoped to be on holiday for six weeks. Jan,
So sorry to hear about your husband's Mum. I know you will treasure the memories you make with her this season. Would love to see pics of the earrings!
