Darlene in Toronto Here's a small blurb from Global's news website "Postal strike threatened Just in time for the holiday season, three groups of Canada Post workers are threatening to strike. 2,600 administrative, clerical and technical workers voted 73 per cent in favour of a strike that could come as early as Dec. 8". Our news here is mostly taken over with Danny Williams, a looming public transportation strike and the Bush visit to Halifax. Hmmm must keep that in mind. Thanks Shelagh! I hadn't heard about this either, just asked hubby & he said he hasn't heard
anything. I know customs has been having some union problems, but I think they are on a '"work to rule" at the mment. In the paper this morning, they were saying it was clerks, etc, and they would keep the mail moving. The people that key in the mail and delivery people are not going on strike - at least not yet. Jane in Toronto |

I doubt it. Anyhow, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all gets resolved. Shelagh |
