Default Glass studios in Houston area

Hi ---
I will be traveling on business to Houston, and will have time to kill while
there. Can any of you tell me whether there are any glass stores/studios
with open torch time, or perhaps torchwork or fusing classes? I'd love to
be able to get my glass fix in while traveling. (I'll be somewhere near the
Katy Fwy between the loop and the beltway, but really would go anywhere in
the metro area --- I am killing time here!)

Thanks,

--Dave

Galveston glass might have something. They have adds in most of the
magazines, and something on line I would imagine. Don't know much about him
other than he does some hot, and warm glass, and I think he does torch work
too.

Try here they have a great shop it is way on the other side of where you
will be. I am down near NASA so I only know shops on this side of town. You
might try Pearl Glass in Webester also. I could not find a web site for
them. American Stained Glass (713) 932-1105

and asking this is where I get most of my suplies I do not do hot glass but
they may be able to help you

Will check out the other tomorrow.

Thank you, Liam.

Hi all, thanks for the responses, although as you can see, it appears that
Houston doesn't seem to have too big of a warm glass community...

I did check out the Houston Studio Glass site, looks like a great spot to
check out especially for hot glass workers.
