He's been lethargic lately, and off his feed, but then he had reasons for
it....record heat wave here, change in his meds, etc.

Yesterday I called the vet and made an appointment though. His right "elbow"
made him cry when I gently squeezed it. This morning, just before the vet
appt., his right rear leg was collapsing on him. (His butt would slowly start
to edge toward the floor.) On his walk he was exhausted and couldn't go far at
all.

He's got a fever of 104 and is depressed (physically) and etc etc. He's in the
hospital, on fluids. I went by there and helped 'em out by taking him for a
small walkie to relieve his kidneys of all that fluid. He seemed a tiny bit
better than he'd been this morning. They've run blood tests and
tick-borne-diseases titers......we'll know more tomorrow.

He's an old guy. We're plenty worried. If you have room in your prayers, we'd
so appreciate a word or two said for him. He's still so sweet, despite feeling
so sick! Always has a smile.

Sooz

VIBES for MERC
and hugs for you..

when mom's cat came down ill a few weeks ago (and vet offered to put him down)
- the fluids seemed to turn him around - and he's been fine since.

Hope Merc perks back up by morning....

Smudges, and I are all praying for you. I told them all about Mercury too.

Default OT Mercury needs you guys!

I'll add him to my general "all dogs and all animals in need" thoughts.
