cost of mags .....

Hello all ,
Iam not related to any contemporary mag. But used to have an Old Uncle
.. [ i mean My father`s uncle] who published various mags in Holland.
Marion for sewing , Araiadne for handcrafts ,, and before that there
was Vrij tijd , for various hobbies .
My uncle told me that in order to make a mag , rentabille he has to
seel 30000 issues ...This sounds incredible , but so it is ,,that is
why they put ads etc,,, Subscriptions also help them as they have
ready cash to start the printing ....
Still for us the price seems [ and is mostly] high ,, Thus everyone
should think if she really wants a mag ... I had some mags before i am
not reading anymore ,,, I have some i buy myself because i use them .
