Default Extruder plans & Air compressor

Unless you are an engineer by trade or know one that can help you with the
design of the extruder. you are playing with a rather dangerous type of
explosion.Think about it, why are they so strickt on the manufacturing of
compressors tanks.

Rather go for a pneomatic ram to press the clay in a cylinder.

you might try doing this with hydraulics instead of air. you can probably
get something off old machinery, like a tractor. i know they use these kind
of mechanics on large power boats, if you're anywhere near a marine yard.

or a hydraulic car/truck jack, upside down, pressing down wards (right way
up and use the bottom of the jack against something REALLY strong) amazing
what you can get away with.... Just remember the KISS principle....

Thank you all for the input on the air extruder idea. I'll stay
away from that for now and go with what works. I talked to
my uncle yesterday about it. He and a few hundred people
built a hydroelectric dam. He also thinks it's a dangerous idea.

Thanks a lot!
