Default Help With Inherited Goblens

Perhaps the appraiser could direct you to a market for the items? You might
call or write to Sotheby's or Christie's and see if they will examine them
with an eye towards auctioning. They will want photographs and information,
if they are interested. It can be hard to attract their attention. There
is an auction company in the Midwest (Iowa) called Jackson's that might be
able to help you http://jacksonsauction.com/ . There is also an auction
company called J.D.Julia in the Northeast .

Are the Wiehler items true tapestries or needlepoint? How old are they?
What is the condition? All of this could have a bearing on their final
disposal.

You can also try eBay but you may not realize as much as you hope - things
on eBay usually sell at less than they would in a gallery or shop.

Hope this helps!
