buna cord
I believe it is just another name for rubber cording.
(maybe a trade name?) there is some closeup here about halfway down the page http://www.polymerclayexpress.com/cord.html Cheryl crna_ofca wrote: can someone explain me what is buna cord, but in details my friends and i have trouble recognising it just from photos -- .~*we are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing each other. kreativni forum: http://p3.forumforfree.com/radionicasnova.html |

buna cord
No, buna is different from rubber cording, although the textures are
similar. Rubber is a natural product, buna is not. The true trade name is Buna-N for nitrile. http://www.sisweb.com/vacuum/o-rings/buna.htm http://www.glassattic.com/polymer/pendants_cording.htm ---------- Barbara www.penguintrax.com eBay & Justbeadsenguintrax 0 /O\ Nurturing doesn't end at birth: breastfeed, co-sleep, babywear. There is a very fine line between a hobby and mental illness. (Dave Barry) Need quality, inexpensive web hosting? Check out http://www.lyonshost.com. buna cord
Barb's right - of course!
it is nitrile - actually it is used for commercial purposes of making O rings and stuff like that...looks and feels like "rubber" - NO it is not hollow - there are similar items on the market that are hollow...and come in very pretty colors -- check that link I gave you before - at the top of the page - but Buna cord is solid....
