Oh, dear. I have half a dozen of these in different colors and styles
that I've made over the years, both for Halloween and for Yule.

People tell me I'm wierd 'cause I'm the only person they know who puts
spiders on her Christmas tree. =:-o

(I had a Christmas pickle, too, but haven't gotten around to replacing it.)

And they are so easy to make! The local beading group made and sold tons of
them at the Down on the Street show back in October. Very popular as lapel
pins, too.

Ooh...you should do a peyote pickle for the tree! That would be cool. Use
11s for the base and 8s for the pickly warts. :-)

It will have to go on the List Of Things To Do for next year. I'm
already in way over my head. :-)

I've made them for years -- they often sell well at the holiday show I do.

very easy to make...

one of the bead companies has a kit for them (can't think of the name of the
company)

I have one, a friend's mom gave me. We have a Christmas book of stories and
poems that I read to my DD when she was little. I always loved that story.
