Horse's tail
Anyone ever hear of a "horse's tail"....used by electricians to slow or stop
cable being lowered down a building?

Horse's tail
..I've seen sparks using chain knot, to make a sennit and drop that over the side of a building, preventing it snarling up halfway down in a total rats nest. They didn't have a name for it though.
