Default Looking for bits of purple

With help from a bunch of you, I've figured out about cutting out
templates and about cutting out fabric from templates. Thank you!

Now I'm starting to do some hand piecing of diamonds to make a Penrose
tiling - more thanks to Patti for showing me a picture that inspired
me! I'm going to do it all in purples. And it just occurred to me
that it would look really neat if there were a lot of different
fabrics.

So then I was wondering whether any of you would have any spare bits
of purple fabric that you would like to trade or give me. Pieces as
small as 2.25 x 5 inches or 3.75 x 3.75 inches would be great.
Anything purple or mostly purple.

Of course, nobody has my address yet, but of course I'd be glad to
give it to you if you e-mail me.

Louise, in eastern Ontario

I cannot get out of the house right now, so it would be a few weeks (at
least) before I could mail anything. I have my friends helping me, but I
save my requests for only the very most important things that I need- a trip
to the post office would be pushing it. ;-) I have quite a few purple
scraps. Email your mailing address to me- if you can wait a while.

Thank you! Let me know if you'd like me to send you anything in
exchange! I have no idea if we have different prints than
Australians, I could send you some other purples if you like.

Hi Louise - I live in Nepean which is not far from you and therefore
easy to mail to you! Send your address to my gmail account (jennellh)
- I can fill an envelope for you for the cost of a stamp and no trip
to the post office is involved.

Louise:

You probably did not want to post the address to the
whole wide world. I cut it here. You may want to cancel
your message, to reduce the problem.

Here is what I do: highlight your message at the news
group, go to tool bar, click edit (OR file, then edit)
pull down the menu, click cancel message, follow
instruction.

THEN, go to your email and privately send your address
to friends. Send to me, too. I have purple to share.
