A 'mid life crisis' at the young age of 32?? Wow, I'm 56 and DH i
57, and we still haven't had mid life crisis! In 1997 I finally
got a car 'of my own' ... a new one to boot ... all our previous
cars have been 'family cars.' It IS fun Larisa ... especially as
it doesn't have a baby seat, nor stinky soccer shoes, etc.!
PAT in VA/USA ... having too much fun to have a crisis!

Well, in my case, DH says that *I* am his midlife crisis grin. He was
32 when we got married, and I was 24, going on 25 (actually he was 32
and 3 months, and I had 4 months until I turned 25). He hadn't planned
on getting married at all (and neither had I), so..............

As for anything else to do with mid-life crisis, *I* get the next new
car as I have never had a new one before, and he says he did enough
travel in teh Navy, so *I* get to travel to Europe if/when we ever get
the money.

Besides, if he went much younger than me, there would be such a maturity
difference that I don't think he would be able to handle it.

My mid-life crisis car was at 45 and I got a VW Cabriolet. Red with Black
top. We call her Ladybug! The first car I bought with cash for myself.

if you love someone - it's what in your heart (not by the looks and age
doesn't matter)

His reasoning is that it was something totally unexpected for him. His
family hadn't expected him to get married, and neither did he. And he
has said that I am his trophy wife from day one (he bragged to his
friends that he was dating a flight attendant - I had submitted an
application - and other silly things). So, that is why he says it was
his mid-life crisis..oh, and the fact that most of the men in his family
don't live into their 70s....but they have all had serious health
problems and a dislike of doctors, so....

My dh always told me that when I turn 40, he is going to trade me in for
two 20 yo's. I always tell him that dogs don't live that long!

The response that I've heard used to that line is to tell him that he's
not wired for 220. (for those of you outside the US, most of our
electrical devices run off 110 volt power, but appliances that draw
heavy, such as stoves and most air conditioners, run off 220 volt power)

dear gentle spirit - it isn't age that makes the difference - it's
character. He could be 30 yrs younger - if he understands how to love, he
cannot think that a young woman will satisfy his soul's need. He could be
ugly, he could be young, he could be old, he could be fat - as can you!
What has that got to do with love!?
