Default Update on lapghan and changing yarn on pattern question

Hi everyone...

Well, my half of my lapghan is crooked because of the change in guage
I've made over time. Dad won't mind though.

Next step is to pick up stitches on the cast-on row to make the other
half. I watched DIY's show yesterday which covered picking up stitches,
but I'm still not sure if I got it.

I'm also wanting to change the yarn weight of the baby mittens from Lion
Brand (http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/khs-mittens.html) to worsted
weight and not Homespun. Somewhere I think I bookmarked a lovely site
for adjusting my pattern for that, but I have to find it.

Denise

You're right, Denise - your dad won't mind. g And if you run into problems
picking up stitches, you may want to try a crochet hook at first. You do have
to then slip them onto your knitting needle, but at least you can get it done.

And hey, you're half done, you're over the hump - you'll be finished before you
know it!
