We'll swap y'all some good ol' humid Texas heat for a good dose o'
cool Yankee air anytime you care to mail us some.

It's the same here in Wisconsin and all I can do is be grateful its not
90-100 and humid, as its likely to be in August. Nice painting and quilting
weather right now if you ask me.
Which, you did, sort of. :-)

Well Come on down to Mississippi, with the heat index the temps at noon were
104. Right now it's raining so hard you can't see to the small barn in my
backyard. This storm has hail with it. If you want heat we got plenty of
it and would really like to share. Want some 10 inches of rain, we got that
too.

Howdy!
Yeah, Monique. I mean, like, "cool" is a problem in summer!!
We've had it wetter than usual over much of Texas this year,
but having suffered thru' drought and the usual dry Texas summer,
wet ain't so bad. And "cool" would be wonderful!

Thank the gods for a/c; I'm quilting right along.

Ragmop/Sandy--under flood warning today (flooded roads
2 blocks from here), w/ a husband who reminds me that
HOT summers are great for the car business ;-D

Isn't this the 14th straight day of thunderstorms? We're storing up wood for
an ark!

But it is good weather for quilting -- I've been stitchin' away for days now
and am about 3/4 finished with a memory quilt I 've been working on for what
seems like forever.
