Default Questions

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to get a pattern of my family's Coat
of Arms. Is there a place that makes them custom? Also, is there any reason why
I can't store linen (and Aida) in those airtight bags that you suck the air out
of with a vaccuum?

Thanks,
Lori

There are companies that will sell you prints of family coats of arms. You
could buy one of those and ask permission from them to have it scanned through
a cross stitch program. There are other companies who will do that for you if
you don't have the software yourself. Also, you could make a tracing of the
coat of arms drawing and use it as the basis of a free style embroidery.

Yes. Fibers need air circulation. And plastic is usually not a good idea for
long-term fabric storage as most exude gases that damage cloth. This damage
would likely be accelerated in the vacuum bags as the gases would not be able
to escape.
