Tomorrow we go to a daughter's farm in Wales. It's Spouse's birthday on
Thursday and she's suggested having a family outing to the National
Welsh
Museum of Wool and you can bet there'll be some yarns on sale :-(

Ooh, please be sure to tell us all about Welsh knitting history
at the museum! They might have traditional sock patterns or something.

Just back. We didn't go to the museum because it was raining. Well, that
is,
not the normal heavy Welsh rain we're used to but violent, blinding
flood-making rain. The rain stopped on Sunday so we hesitantly ventured
out
to find the village with only one gay. I suspect you have to be British
to
understand that ...

No, you don't. Was his name "Dafyd"? (Not sure of the spelling. g)

Close - it's Daffyd :-)

The village sign has been stolen and replaced so often that they've now
fitted a blue one which they hope nobody will want. We still took pictures
with it though ... for a son who's a great fan. We don't have a television
but are made to watch it when we visit :-)

I don't have a television this year, but manage to catch LB on the
computer
once in a while. I didn't realize that they used a real village for
that sketch.

They don't, just the sign. I didn't know there was such a place but our
daughter said it wasn't far away. It was spectacular scenery along the
route, worthwhile going just for that.
