Default More Fabric Bowls attempted.

Ok I tried my hand at 2 other bowls from the book. These are smaller, but
just as cute. Just as easy as the first one. I posted them on my webshots,
should be there any time now.

While viewing your great quilts and projects, I saw your cruise pictures.
We are leaving Wed. for a cruise on the Spirit. Please, any tips would be
greatly appreciated! What to wear, what not to miss, suggestions,
recommendations, etc. We can't wait to go to Alaska!

Alaska is beautiful and I know because? Well it is only a few hours drive
for us if we wanted to get there. I live very north in B.C. and it is about
a 14 hour drive to hit Alaska. I haven't been up in years now, but oh I
remember the beauty of it well. You will love it. Relax, enjoy!!

I'd be interested in hearing about *your* trip. We sail on the Spirit on July
14th!

Alaska is beautiful and still mostly unspoiled. IN the towns themselves
there are people that give local tours on buses for alot less money than the
cruise charges. In skagway definitely take the train up to White Pass, if
it is open. I don't know if it runs this time of year. Take clothes that
you can layer. Sometimes it was hat weather and other days we walked around
in just sweatshirts. The evening clothes were pretty casual, a nice pants
suit will be fine. Just watch out for the really old passengers, they will
knock you down to get to the prunes in the morning. DH can tell you all
about that! Bon Voyage

We spent two weeks on a Hawaiian cruise on the Carnival Spirit in one of the
corner balcony rooms looking over the back of the ship. ThaT SHIP IS
GLORIOUS AND i WISH i WAS ON IT RIGHT NOW (ACK CAPS!!). i CAN CONSOLE MYSELF
WITH THE aDVENTURE OF THE sEAS IN sEPTEMBER THOUGH. (ACK i THOUGHT HIT
CAPS...GUESS I DIDN'T), The cruise director on the Spirit is the best I've
ever seen, and I have seen several.

Hopefully he'll do "washing the dog"..."washing the little dog"..."washing
the big dog" for you.

Have fun!
